The right kind of help for the question
Auto mode is designed for everyday use, while focused modes let you ask specifically for learning help, source-grounded explanations, planning, career exploration or account guidance. Recent conversation context and memories you deliberately chose to save are separate controls, so you can decide whether either should be used on this turn. The route can change how the answer is prepared, but it does not change who is allowed to make assessment, readiness, evidence or credential decisions.
Learn & understand
Use Ask Certifiedge as a learning companion when you need an explanation, a worked approach, practice or help connecting one idea to another. It can use the learning context available to your account, but it does not complete consequential assessment decisions for you. The goal is useful support that strengthens understanding and keeps accountable work where it belongs.
Sources you can inspect
Source mode searches only material that your account is allowed to use and attaches the matching source titles to the answer. If no authorized source matches, Certifiedge says so instead of inventing a citation. Retrieved text is treated as reference material, so instructions hidden inside a source cannot silently change privacy, safety or authorization rules.
Plan with agency
Planning and career modes can help you identify options, capabilities to strengthen and useful next steps. They are designed to help you compare and prepare rather than declare a final career, readiness, admission or progression outcome. You remain the decision-maker, with the relevant Certifiedge workflow providing any formal evidence or review that is required.
Your private workspace
Your question is sent through the governed support route selected for this turn. Ask Certifiedge keeps routing records as bounded technical provenance rather than creating a second readable archive of your prompt and answer. If you ask to email an answer or open a support request, the conversation can prepare a Connected Action, but you still review and approve that exact action separately before it runs.
Control stays visible
Recent context can help the current conversation stay coherent, while longer-term memory is limited to information you explicitly chose to save and can remove later. Connected Actions are separate again: enabling an action type only allows Certifiedge to prepare it for review, not to execute it automatically. Keeping these controls distinct reduces surprise and makes it easier to understand why an answer or proposed action is available.
Choose whether this turn may use recent conversation context. Turn it off when you want a fresh answer that does not rely on what was discussed earlier in the session.
