What verification does
Verification checks the authenticity/status/source of a governed record and returns only details authorized for disclosure.
What verification does not do
Verification does not re-assess performance, guarantee current capability, predict future performance or make an employment/admission decision.
Status
Records can be active, expired, revoked, superseded or otherwise limited. Revocation and other current status changes must be reflected in a verification result together with the relevant scope.
Fraud and corrections
Suspected forgery, incorrect identity linkage or status errors are reported through the documented support/integrity process.
Privacy
Verification responses minimize personal data and do not turn private evidence into a public record by default.
