Child data is processed only where the required authority exists and in a manner intended to protect and advance the child’s rights and best interests.
Information used
Certifiedge minimizes child identifiers and may process learning activity, curriculum progress, submitted work, observations and relationship/access records needed for the service. Sensitive data should not be collected merely because a text box exists.
Guardian and institution roles
Guardian consent/authority and institution roles are verified through governed relationship workflows. A claimed relationship alone is not enough to open child records.
Privacy defaults
Child accounts have no public profile or public Proof Passport, no broad child-controlled sharing, no durable child AI memory and no advertising profiling.
AI
AI can support age-appropriate learning where configured but cannot become safeguarding, admission, promotion, credential or other prohibited authority.
Rights and requests
A parent/guardian or authorized institution may exercise appropriate rights for a child. Certifiedge may pause release/erasure while verifying authority or preserving safeguarding/integrity records.
Safety
Suspected abuse, unauthorized access or relationship misuse is escalated through the safeguarding/incident process with access limited to authorized personnel.
